My story. I have had 3 children complete the Punanleo o Maui program. This amazing preschool created a safe space for my children to thrive and live the Hawaiian culture through olelo. Parent support drives the success of the children and the school. Parents learn/practice speaking Hawaiian and perpetuate olelo at home. No matter how tired you are, at the end of the day the challenge is to connect to your keiki and olelo. I created this design of a traditional phrase for Punanaleo o Maui back in 2013. This design has been used to promote the school and Hawaiian language movement.
